Ethical Policy
The ethical policy of the electronic scientific publication "Integrated Communications" is aimed at compliance with ethical standards adopted by the international scientific community. The activities of the editorial board in this direction are based on the recommendations of the Committee on Publishing Ethics (Committee on Publication Ethics), the Code of Ethics of Scientists of Ukraine, as well as the experience of many reputable international journals and publishers.
The scientist must:
- adhere to the highest professional standards of planning and conducting research on the basis of deep knowledge of the achievements of world science in a particular field;
- to ensure impeccable honesty and transparency at all stages of scientific research and to consider inadmissible fraud, including fabrication and falsification of data, piracy and plagiarism. Attempts by managers to prejudice the nature of the data and conclusions obtained in the study are unacceptable. The scientist serves only objective truth;
- remember that research is a process of acquiring new knowledge. He must strive for proper erudition and competence, for which a critical analysis of the latest scientific knowledge is possible;
- provide the necessary protection of intellectual property.
The main motivation of the scientist should be the desire for knowledge and the desire to enrich science with new knowledge. At the same time, the highest reward of a scientist is the achievement of truth and recognition of the scientific community. A scientist has the right and duty to defend his scientific priority. However, the publication of inaccurate and unconvincing scientific results, as well as publication in non-scientific publications in order to achieve priority, are unacceptable. The scholar recognizes international and national copyright law. He can use information from any publication, provided that he indicates the source and draws a clear line between his own data and the achievements of others. Borrowing for your own publications any photographs, drawings, tables, diagrams, etc. requires, in accordance with the publishing rules, the permission of the author or publisher. A scientist should not repeat his scientific publications in order to increase their number. If it is appropriate to publish the same work in different journals to promote scientific achievements, the editors of the latter should be informed about the fact of publication in other journals.
An important condition for accepting an article for publication is the availability of new original scientific results that have not been published anywhere before. If the materials have been published before, the author must provide the editorial board with bibliographic information on previous publications and justify the relevance of the publication of the new version, explaining the nature of additions and changes to the last version of the article.
Any controversial issues (financial, academic, personal, etc.) are carefully considered by members of the editorial board. In case of confirmation of suspicions related to possible plagiarism or falsification of results, the article is unconditionally rejected.
The magazine allows authors to retain copyright without restriction.
All relations on publishing ethics issues that arise between the authors and the editorial board of the publication and are not regulated by this document are governed by internationally accepted standards COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) and the Code of Ethics of Scientists of Ukraine.
