Abstract

The article examines the main milestones in the development of international activities of the Department of Library Science and Informmology of the Institute of Journalism at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University in 2016–2021. The participation of teachers and students of the department in international academic mobility programmes, as well as in international research projects is analysed. Indicators for the development and submission of grant applications are demonstrated, in particular with regard to the winning applications. The scientific publications of the teachers of the department, which were published in the publications indexed in the scientometric databases “Scopus” and “Web of Science”, are analysed. Generalised data on the participation of teachers and students of the department in Ukrainian and international scientific conferences are presented.
