Project Activities in Forming Professional Competenciesof Future Specialists
Abstract
The article highlights the role of project methods in teaching students of the Institute of Journalism at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. It is presented and described festivals, clubs and projects organised at the Department of Publishing. The aim and tasks of these events are indicated, the results and findings are analysed, the role and place of festivals, clubs, projects in the educational process are described. It is claimed that professional competencies are formed during the courses studied by students-journalists of the educational programme “Publishing and Editing”. The authors draw conclusions about the possibilities of projects in the development of professional competencies and their importance in achieving programme learning outcomes.
