Abstract

The modern publishing industry is changing rapidly under the influence of digitization and convergence. Author provided the analysis of foreign and domestic scientific works, based on a wide source base and an array of empirical data. The vectors of digital transformations of the publishing industry are determined in the monograph; the author’s vision of the content and the correlation of key concepts that reflect the digital transformations of the publishing industry is presented. Theoretical comprehension and systematization of the variety of the innovative publishing practices made it possible to supplement the current theory of publishing with a number of new conceptual provisions, classifications, models, etc., to outline the ways of development of the Ukrainian publishing industry in the context of integration into the globalized publishing space. The article is intended to researchers of the field of publishing, social communications, publishers and editors, as well as anyone interested in the issues of the digital publishing industry.
